Vision
The Port of Beirut was the main port in Lebanon, it was one of the largest and busiest ports on the Eastern Mediterranean. On the 4th of August, a tragedy struck Beirut, a horrible blast, reduced the once vibrant seaport to dust and debris, leaving destruction, diseases, injured and affected lives. As a result, Beirut suffered mass housing shortages, creating a self-sustaining system in which the community increase of unemployment and food shortages among many becomes part of the construction of the project by acquiring other things that affect the wellbeing of its residents. The skills from the construction of the project and the re-use of projects aim at creating a loop of production of material and the materials that were left by the blast. This can lead to knowledge and living built upon the remnants of the explosion increased know-how that can open up future fields and create to stand as a reminder of what once happened. new opportunities and future jobs which will strengthen the local economy.
