Gia | Chandelier

 

Imagine a gentile bouquet of flowers gracing your ceiling, the Gia chandelier consists of hand sculpted polished brass calla lilies tied by a simple string. The idea was to bring the best gift a lover can give to one another to a piece of lightning that will last forever.... without watering.

This chandelier is all made of Polished brass, but it also can be made in antique brass or stainless steel. The standard piece takes 33 flowers which make it carry 33 E14 lamps, that can be turned on all at once or half of them. In this state it measures something around 80cm of diameter and it haves 200cm height, but all of this dimensions can be easily adjustable.

The project was tested in 3D modeling were we had the chance to test it, and see how many we could need to make it a opulent and strong piece of lightning. The whole concept of Gia comes from a flower bouquet, that like in real life we can make it lots of flowers or a simple rose, in the case of the lamp it can be made with one flower to look like a pendant light or full of them to be a magnifique chandelier.

The production of this chandelier is all handmade, and it was a big challenge for us to make it look just like we wanted. The artisans endured the perfectionism of the brand until the last detail and the result was great as it can be seen in all photos.
