People who drink Shinto replenishing black tea are focused, active, and driven. For them, drinking tea is a ritual or religious experience. This is what I aimed to represent with this branding project.
To achieve this I chose a slightly altered handwritten font to have a look as if it were slashed by the blade of a katana, to represent a warrior spirit. The shrine symbolizes ethics and values. Together they represent the power and restraint of a peaceful warrior (that's my story, anyway). Each teabag's steep tab has a single inspirational word such as "harmony" and "strength", along with the japanese character for that word.... and if that isn't zen enough, you can use the box as a miniature tea light for your office desk (to remind you that you need to buy more tea).
