This was my first ever commission for a wedding. I had told myself previously that weddings would likely be a big no, because of the pressure that comes with it. The couple and my team agreed that we would approach the feel of the images and photography documentary style. Seeking moments more than poses. But we did not rule the latter out because it is still important. A day set in Paarl at a beautiful venue surrounded by lovely landscapes called Belair. The connection with the couple was through a friend of mine in music and culture Adrian Van Wyk, forever grateful.
