I created a photoshop graffiti effect of my name onto a brick wall. To begin with, I created a black and white high contrast version of the brick wall through image settings by adjusting saturation and contrast. Then, I created a separate file for this version to use later for a displacement effect. I used type tool to type my name in a decorative colorful font. I then used layer effects on my text layer to adjust stroke, inner shadow, gradient overlay, outer glow. In addition, I converted my text layer to a smart object in order to apply a displace effect through the previous black and white version of the brick wall. Finally, I used the blend if sliders in layer effects to create a seamless effect between the bricks and the text.
