I had the opportunity to make some images about the ways the art, the pandemic and the war are intertwined Banco de la República of Colombia. Ever since covid-19 came into the world it changed everything, even influencing art and the art market.

Our political and social challenges are also source of information for filmmakers in my country and the audience. Like any kind of art, the films show sometimes the truth and ugly parts of who we are. It's a mirror of our society that sometimes we don't want to look at. I wanted to honor the Colombian productions as well as the macondian magic realism that often influence the way we tell stories.
