I was commissioned to ink an eldritch horror monster poster.
Some illustration process insight ahead:
The composition got planned in thumbnail scale. After the client's approval - I started inking the full-sized rendering. I started with the creature's head and torso to provide myself a guide for proportions and perspective. When the whole monster got illustrated, I moved to the background.
Once the illustration got scanned I vectorized it for comfortable scaling and future printing.
