Despite there being 118 known chemical elements, only 21 of them are found in the composition of an average human being.
I split these 21 elements into three groups for ease of understanding: Main Elements of Life, Essential Minerals, and Trace Elements. It is also a great way to categorize their proportions, which differ wildly (darn those logarithmic values!)
