It is a rebranding of a Soviet popular-science magazine «Knowledge is power» for young people 15-25 years. «Knowledge is power» has been published since 1926 once a month. The magazine is very sapid and information-rich. Format of the original version is not big it’s about 170x230 mm, my magazine is rather big 270x380 mm. It’s comfortable and easy to fold in two. It’s looks like a mix of glossy magazine and newspaper.
There are two parts in my version: the first is very fractional, the second is more solid. They differ in color: pale gray and pink. As there are information of a different order I separate it lines and two size of type. Illustrations are modular. I use a contrast type combination like antique Charter with grotesque Block.
