antorganic

Antorganic deals with the topic of man versus nature. Man feels superior to nature, controls and destroys it, although it is essential for his survival. But nature is not as defenseless as it seems.
The contrast was presented with an audiovisual installation in which two computers interact with each other.
A pair of projections in portrait format show man on one side and nature on the other. In the end, three pairs of composed music pieces run as arrangements in Ableton and trigger animations of the Unity project via MIDI signals using a specially programmed interface. Since animations and models are partly randomly generated, no two runs are alike.
This project was created together with Juliette Schminke, Lara Ketzenberg and Philip Gerdes.
My tasks were idea and conception and the implementation in Unity, which included C# programming, animations and the creation of shaders.
