These invitations were for a friend at work.  This invitations lark is a great way to get out of a wedding gift!
I re-used the diecut for the Turkish wedding, which was great.  Diecuts are not cheap and it does up to 600 sheets, so by my count I get one more set of invites before the blade becomes too dull.

The bride wanted a nautical theme as her intended in a skipper and they are all boat mad.  These were my first wedding invitations to be written in Irish too!  The repeat pattern is of anchors, and the image on the background is the nautical map from the groom to the bride's house via the island that the wedding church is on.  The bride carried orange flowers, hence the orange accent colour and the blue is for the sea.

The closed up invitation with the RSVP card contained is below, again sealed with a sticker.

The sticker to seal the invitation is an illustration of nautical knots, two single knots and a double knot.

In the foyer of the reception venue, the Salthill Hotel in Co. Galway, the bride wanted something to welcome the guests to the hotel.  She loved the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' motivational poster and wanted something similar for her venue.  The repeat pattern is hidden in the negative space of the letters.

The couple provided toiletries in the bathrooms for the guests, as well as flipflops for the ladies in the high heels and she wanted little messages so that people would know to help themselves.

I really can't help myself when it comes to things matching.
