On March 3, 2013, as a senior at LSU, I was selected as New Orleans Fashion Week's very first Emerging Designer. I was invited to showcase a collection of 14 looks for a full runway show to kick off the fashion week of events. The looks were inspired by love stories of the 1960s, and were each created in my personal studio space. They were also comprised of original designed printed textiles and hand painted florals.
