This Sofa-bed was developed for a CAD class, the project criteria was to create a multi-functional piece of furniture to optimize space. This aesthetic is industrial and minimalist, suited for a mixed use live-work space or loft.

A design was created using SolidWorks software and then 3D printed.

The bed mode creates a flat, padded surface. The transformation is driven by a small motor and instrument panel on the back.
