The Ordinary- Domestic Abuse awareness packaging design

The Ordinary use statistics, as part of their honest branding, to communicate the ingredients in their products. I wanted to use this as a way to convey the types of people using these products. This packaging design was made with a cubist illustrative style, to depict the destructive nature domestic abuse has on the people it affects. A third of the illustrations are pink to represent the third of women affected by domestic abuse. 

I wanted to use the box it comes in to convey the statistics represented in the statistics. This allows the illustrations on the bottles to take up centre stage. I decided to match the cubist illustrations to a cubist-inspired typeface.
