My first ever watercolor portrait.
This was the discovery of a lifetime - finding out that I could paint. I had seen this little boy in a crowd of dancing college students. He wanted in on the action despite his parents attempts to keep him at their table. The birds really have no significance, except that the boy was in a state of wonder - hence the title.
