In this course I teach how to create a clear and attractive infographic, from theory to practice.

Here, I would like to share the creative process behind the final project of my course, an infographic about the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

Here's the final result:
UNIT 01

At the beginning I will introduce myself and I tell about my working experience.
Then I will share my inspirations.
UNIT 02

In this unit, I will explain the principles and techniques of Information graphics.
You will learn how to create isometric illustrations, how to build an ordered and balanced layout using a grid, and how to use the right typography and colors for your visualization.
UNIT 03

Once these bases have been clarified, I will lead you through all the steps to create an editorial infographic. I will analyze the brief, figuring out how to translate the content visually. Then I will organize the different visualizations on the page through the help of a grid. Finally, I will start sketching those illustrations that need to be better defined on paper before being digitized.
UNIT 04

In this final unit I will start digitalizing all the illustrations, maps and data visualization, using Illustrator. Once done, I will import all the visualizations into the layout created in Indesign. Finally I will add the textual part and all the final details.
This course is subtitled in English, Spanish and other 6 languages.
