In Spring 2011 , I took Prof. Audrey Bennet's Typography course at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The course was one of my best experiences at RPI. I really grew as a designer and artist as well as developed a greater appreciation for typography and its role in good design. Showcased here is my work for the major assignments this semester.
The Type Specimen Page
I took a closer look at the typeface Didot and created a Chandelier like illustration composed solely of Didot characters.
Font Design
I designed the letter P as part of a new typeface named Harper. I drew a lot of inspiration from Art Deco.
