“Staying in is the new going out” became the hashtag for HBO and I wanted to use that for their upcoming new hire onboarding kits. I designed an old tv tube as the outside of the kit, reflecting the signature HBO + static, and then upon reveal I created a modern family room. The goal was contrast, so the outside was old school, and everything inside was modern, including our graffiti inspired shirts and other materials they received.
