Sakharov.space is a digital museum of Andrei Sakharov, dedicated to the centenary
of the great scientist and human rights activist. It is the first and only large-scale project
of its kind. Its purpose is to tell the life story, preserve the legacy and contribution of Sakharov
to the struggle for human rights. In addtion, the platform is enriched with a calendar
of events honoring the scientist as well as a digital archive of texts
and materials about him.
To get the 3D model right and achieve accuracy in facial features, we collaborated
with 3 digital sculptors, analyzed a ton of archived footage of Sakharov.

To create a digital archive was one of the project's objectives. We built a library that stores books, hundreds of photos, unique documents, video and audio materials. Webflow enabled us to create this section of the digital museum while providing
a user-friendly admin panel. Center's employees can easily upload and update materials without any technical help.
