This Illustration is a mural based on the Japanese urban legend of Aka Manto. In his story, Aka Manto haunts the last stall in the girl’s bathroom that has no toilet paper and offers a red or blue roll to whoever uses the stall. No matter which roll is chosen, both options will lead to the victims death. I depicted the deadly consequences in the blood of previous victims as a warning. 

The story of Aka Manto is widely known through Japan and is referenced in a lot of Western media, the most famous being the pills from The Matrix.
