William & Mary challenged mStoner to create something with a voice to use for their print-based recruiting materials. Using the language pattern of "William & Mary" we placed word juxtapositions over campus imagery, mostly snapshots pulled from Flickr. These were produced in physical form as a deck of printed cards, and shipped in a box. It earned the name "Ampersandbox." The institution followed up on our concept design with a web component where students and alumni could contribute their own juxtapositions. This piece has been mentioned in several publications including the Chronicle of Higher Education. https://ampersandbox.wm.edu (Authored by William & Mary) Copywriting and Co-Creative Direction: Mark Sheehy.
