THE PROBLEM
Being a book publisher is a struggle in the digital era. Sales are decreasing as margins are lowered by large e-commerce sites. Schildts & Söderström wanted to relaunch their website but were not sure what features to bring and how to position themselves online and in social media.
THE SOLUTION
I worked closely with stakeholders at Schildts & Söderström to bring a website to market that's more adapted to 2014. My work was conducted in three different stages;
Firstly, I conducted user research and in-depth interviews with the stakeholders at the company.
Secondly I wrote a strategy document outlining where they are today and were they need to be tomorrow.
Finally I created the wireframes and visual design for their new website complete with their own webshop which offers exclusive content from their authors.
