We, at RedCare believe that the solution to end the shame around periods, is to dismantle the roots of the years and years of women oppression that led to people believing that menstruating is “impure”. It is essential that we fight against the superstitions that have been firmly established, at a profound level in our society, surrounding the menstrual flow. At RedCare, we believe to achieve this by not only distributing sanitary products, but also by interrupting these behavioral restrictions that contribute to gender-based taboos.
Our foundation focuses on addressing these social taboos, and putting an end to the hush around menstruation.
