HOSTEL PICTOGRAMS
Our first signage work for project class. Those pictograms were designed for a newly opened hostel in Costa Brava Catalonia. The concepts to create were: bar, kitchen, dining room, women wc, men wc, handicapped wc and lost-and-found goods.
The pictogram shown in front view and side view is very common in the signage's field so, I decided to innovate and be creative using the overhead view. Taking the most representative object for every pictogram like the cup, skimmer, fork... simplifying the forms and centered over circular base.
