Mark is the head grower at Vine King, one of the world’s premiere greenhouses for tomatoes. He uses LUNA AI- powered by IUNU- to keep track of and manage his inventory. Today Mark is using data from LUNA’s intelligent computer vision system to identify and understand any shortcomings in production yield. From the Map View, he pulls open a data panel giving him information about fruit and plant counts. He sends a report to the sales team to let them know how current crop counts and plant density will impact forecasted yield projections. A notification appears on Mark’s screen, letting him know that LUNA has just detected new instances of powdery mildew. He clicks the notification and is taken to images showing the spread of the disease down the row. Mark navigates back to the Map View for the affected bay, and toggles a heat map to see where else powdery mildew is present. Mark also pulls up environmental data for the bay to check to see if there is any apparent reason for the spread. Next, he creates a flag for an area of the bay that is most affected. He can assign employees to the flag, attach treatment instructions, and add a personal note. Mark decides the issue is urgent enough that he sends a report to the IPM Manager about the flag he just created. He can also attach the heat map and a CSV containing fruit and plant counts. Crisis averted, Mark can sign off and enjoy his weekend knowing he’s prepared the greenhouse for the cooling temperatures expected in the forecast.
