Interactive Hospital Room Design
This was a collaborative design created by Taylor Yuill and Molly Boyd.
Created with children in mind, this was a concept for an interactive room to be used in hospitals. Users could customize the lights and sounds within the room all from an iPad. This would allow children going into major surgeries to calm down before their operation. There was also a smaller side of the room that was well lit but still utilized a television screen to keep children distracted. This well lit area provided a space for doctors and nurses to administer medicines and treatments while the children could stay distracted.
In this project, I provided the room concepts as well as the illustrated light patterns that would be projected on the walls by a projector, while Molly created the UI for the iPad.
