What’s Fiber’s Melody
Fiber's Melody invites you to listen to the sounds of the forest that were rescued through photocaptor technology, where the veins of different trunks are reproduced by means of unique melodies to be listened to all over the world.
The technology
We developed the Photocaptor© technology that, through a software, reads and characterizes the wood grains, from images to musical notes in real time. The image processing algorithms run on a computer the size of a credit card, which is responsible for spinning the disc, positioning the arm, taking the image, analyzing and generating the different musical notes.
The co-creating
Fiber's Melody demonstrated the versatility of wood to people, co-creating music with the melody of the tree.
