Nissin Creamy Seafood Cup Noodles Campaign Case Study
This case study was created by me alongside my colleagues, Karl Marcelino, Josef Viktoria Lim and John Benedict Maileg as a part of our academic studies focusing on the development of campaigns.
Visuals were done in Adobe Photoshop while the compilation of the presentation was done in Canva.
THE BIG IDEA: THE PERFECT CUP-LE
The core idea for this campaign was to highlight the marriage of two unlikely flavors being: Seafood and Milk. Through this, we have created somewhat of a continuous love story through visuals with various messages both relating to the product and the theme of the campaign.
The Teaser Ad created by yours truly tackled the "talking stage" between the two main leads of the campaign, being the cow and the crab. Using cheesy one-liners that ended with the cow still typing, this introduces the campaign in a way that the current consumers would easily relate to while still thinking of what's to come.
The Introductory Ad created by Karl Marcelino highlights the two main leads spending time together and enjoying the product. It also highlights some of the ingredients used alongside its message that despite coming from different worlds, we get together at times as well.
The Sustaining Ad created by Benedict John Maileg highlights the development of feelings among the two main leads wherein their love was embodied by the product, Nissin Creamy Seafood Cup Noodles. Include in the visual was the main message used for the campaign as well.
As for the Promotional Ad also created by Mr. Maileg, it shows then that the Cup Noodles served as the ring given by the crab to the cow, signifying their marriage.
As for the Loyalty Ad created by Josef Viktoria Lim, the group had decided to create somewhat of a bundle box of various Nissin Cup Noodle variants that also contains exclusive freebies that can be used when consuming the products which were the travel-friendly cutlery set with the known Nissin Cup Noodles design.
