BELLY OF THE BEAST
Made for CG Tantra matte painting contest. Theme was to create an atmosphere for alien civilization, unfortunately i never finished the project and time ran out :(
Overview
I had a rough idea of setting up a centralized atmosphere, i thought of painting a basic cave like structure, adding tones of warmth and lighting up the scene
At this point of time, i made up my mind to make it less photo realistic as possible, still maintaining kind of comic drawn sketch, i worked again on the lighting part, that was really important to set up the tone and mood of the scene
Cleaning up the scene, rearranging and adding stuffs such as fumes, fire, smoke and dust particles
Worked on the floor a bit, final composite
