5 little fingers dream as they wait for the school bus: if only they were older, one would go to school by bike, another one by car, the others by boat, plane and helicopter.

I designed the pop-ups myself. I send demo videos to my publisher to show him. Here is the first draft of the pop-up.

Once I'm satisfied with the models, I flatten the pop-ups, scan it, and redraw it in illustrator. Then print it and reassemble it to check it and adjust it.

Once the pop-ups were ready, I wrote the story and made the illustration with a mix of vector shapes from illustrator and hand-drawn shapes and texture in photoshop.
