CLOCKWORK | Gold Bank Card

CLOCKWORK GOLD BANK CARD

Time is a mysterious concept found in nature, philosophy, history and physics. In thousands of years, the human mind evolved only enough to measure and perceive a limited perception of Time. In ancient myths the alternation of day and night was only under the control of god. People pursued to understand and measure time. The first sundial in history was invented by people of Babylonia, 3,500 years ago.

Ancient Egypt gave the world the water clock and the first ever mechanical clock was installed on one of the towers of Milan in 1335. All clocks symbolize eternity and a sense of impermanence. Inspired by this eternal theme, the clockwork features a clock mechanism figurine, carved from gold, supported by radial patterns and fine gold details, decorated with jasper and mother of pearl with dozens of diamonds all across the piece.
