Self Promo Item
This is my self promo which I created for my Graduation Show (for my Graphic Design course) called 'The Factory'. The promo was designed to promote yourself as a graphic designer (yes, obvious, i know), and to act as a free give-away to people attending the exhibition (friends, family and industry).
My Visual Mini Folio
This was designed to explain my self promo and to be a visual introduction to my online portfolio. The whole idea behind my promo was relating myself to the good qualities of a succulent (seems a bit weird but i really love succulents and the whole idea seems to really work for me). I wasnt sure if peole would get what i was trying to communicate so i related it to a visual on the front of my mini folio. (My mini folio is the size of a business card)

Above is the inside of my mini folio. I wanted to keep it fresh and interesting. (I had help from my mentor Gary Seaman (thank you Gary!)
Who doesnt like a present?
To keep my promo interesting, i wanted to make it so people who recieved it, would have to wait until they got home to fully take it in. I did this by making it really difficult for them to look through it on the night. A knot in a ribbon seemed effective ;)

Okay! now this is the beginning of my promo item! 100 uniqually painted terricota pots containing awesome succulents!
Painted Pots? Yes Please!
I really loved painting all my pots. The white paint really popped out and looked awesome next to the red terricota. I put a sticker on the bottom of each pot so i would still have a connection to the promo once all the packaing has been removed.

My Carry Bags
Just so people wouldnt be awkwardly carrying around a mini succulent plant all night. All are A5 sized paper bags, marked with my logo (for visual promotion on the night). I also attached a tag version of my business card to the handles.
The Holders
I made holders for the pots and my mini folio present. The pot holder works alot like a cup holder and stops the pot moving around and tipping over. I designed them so they wouldnt have to be held together with glue, the sides of the bag holds the pot holder in place. (thanks to my poor dad who helped me make 100 of them xx)
