Spring Equinox: Diary of a Tree is a collection of 5 paintings reflecting the musings of an Indian Bean Tree. Imagining spring in the depth of winter evokes utopian possibilities. For a deciduous tree in a northern climate, here are impossible hues of foliage. These paintings echo the imagery of the current work of Alison Keenan in the exhibition The Tree: Literal and Figurative   now on view at the Chinese Cultural Centre Museum in Vancouver.
