The following are screenshots of the Thesis Project blocks created to take people through the journey of brand development and the Master's Program as a whole. To see more about this quest and what was learned during it, visit this website on Wix.
For our Thesis Project, the assignment was to sum up everything learned during our time in the Media Design Master's of Fine Arts program. The project was broken down into four blocks: Research, Solving Problems, Collaboration and Acquiring Competencies. Each block takes the viewer inside the thought process of developing brand logos, voice and tone, look and feel, and brand vision boards.
With Research, the viewer finds out where the process of developing the Las Vegas Enforcers hockey brand started from. It gives insight on where my thoughts took me, and ultimately, where it ended up to get to developing stage.
In Solving Problems, the story begins with knowing what the problem the client has. In this case, the goal was to develop a marketing campaign dedicated to community connection and team building, which is designed to boost the low attendance figures that doomed the last franchise to play in Vegas. Knowing that led to finding solutions, beginning with the Onlyness Statement, that could best communicate the brand message and identity.
Collaboration discusses how the viewpoints of others through instructor feedback and peer critiques helped to shape the brand into the finished product. The block also talked about what was done with the feedback and what I would do differently if I had to do things over again.
Finally, Acquiring Competencies cover the items deemed most important from what I learned during the course, along with helping advance my career going forward. Along the way, examples of the work produced compliment the text.
