I'm still getting the hang of typography, so I decided it was time to practice. What else could I have chosen if not Nils Holgersson? My greatest childhood favourite.
In the picture below you can see my process. I painted the elements separately on paper, even added background blobs in case I needed them, but did most of the work in Photoshop.
