This case is made entirely out of a single mould polypropylene. As most of the sensitive surface of a compact disk is only on one side, only that side is being protected along with a continuous molded rim, hence the entire case acts as a large snap fit. Each case has a small protrusion and a slot above and below the case that act as tiny friction fits which improves stackability both for the vendor and for the users when they reuse the case for storing their compact disk’s.
These individual cases can be stacked to be sold as a bulk package which replaces the spindle case.
