I published Dystopia Boy this past May and, after several rounds of designs with multiple artists, wound up deciding I should do it myself. What began as an art deco piece with the "watcher" in silhouette and the eyes in bright green eventually evolved into a cyberpunk piece with heavy influence from older sci-fi book covers like those of Heinlein and Phillip K. Dick. In the end, I was really happy with the result and, interestingly enough, felt prompted by the work done here to pursue freelance design work in addition to my writing and publishing.
