In 2021 I bought myself an iPad, an iPen and installed the procreate drawing tool. I then set my iPad down and carried on with life as usual. Some weeks later, while reorganising my coffee table I stumbled across the neglected tech under a pile of unread magazines.

It was in that moment that I vowed to put this marvel of modern technology to good use and challenged myself to make a digital drawing drawing each and every day for 100 days. But when I flipped open the iPad's protective case and prayed for inspiration, all I saw was my own reflection staring back at me in the black mirrored surface.

This led me to create a series of curious self portraits.

Sometimes a straight representation, other times a caricature, these daily drawings became a meditation on my state of mind at that exact time.

100 days and 100 drawings later Black Mirror is staring back at you.
