LYD website
Working on personal projects is always tricky.

A client project comes in, and they get pushed to the back.
And when you start them again, you forget about where you were and end up starting again.

Add to that the fact that you invariably overthink them, try to incorporate too much, and overcomplicate what you're trying to say. It isn't easy.

So it's with some joy (and relief) when you get to take a project live and share it, even if you did start it a long long time ago.

We created a simple kinetic typographical story for the homepage which talks about standing out in a noisy world
The menu

On mobile devices there is a different menu colour of each section
Iconography

We've developed some simple iconography for the website, which will grow as we add more content to the site
Illustrations

Each article will have a different illustration, so we wanted to develop an illustrative style for the opinions section, which in true might be problematic in the longer term, but let's see how that goes.
