CLIENT: Cemento Chimborazo Ecuador


"industrial" and "Superior" are cements produced by Cemento Chimborazo Ecuador. The brands are new to the market, so a new, different and strong visual identity was needed. The visual identity had to clearly communicate the characteristics of the product that are based on the concept of the name: Chimborazo Volcano.
The main pattern was designed through a synthesis of the shape of the volcano joining with the shapes of the logo. The blue colors reflect the cold environment of a volcano and the orange-yellow colors symbolize the human warmth of the city and the people who work in the great company Cemento Chimborazo.
The basic graphic element in the packaging are the patterns that cover a large part of the packaging and clearly communicate the purpose of the product.

Taking into account the characteristics of the product and the packaging material - paper with a protective layer - the solution had to adjust to the technical limitations of printing in terms of color, surfaces, printing and raster.
