This concept illustration was developed to accompany the poem A um Ausente by Carlos Drummond de Andrade.
Inspired by the death of a close person, Drummond writes a poem that talks about mourning, longing, absence and doubt, but also makes it clear that the memory of the good times lived together will remain.
