Nemesis Project
Abstract Designs
The goal of this project is to abstract and construct forms and rhythms to improve cognitive comprehension of a set of human emotions.
This work is titled Nemesis because it depicts sentiments that I have had throughout my academic career but have been unable to express in words. As a result, the challenge was to use line rhythm to abstractly portray the felt emotions (Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Loneliness, Fear, and Disappointment).
Each abstract, though, has its own shape and flow. You have the ability to understand and experience abstract notions in your own unique way.
This project is about expressing myself and showing my feelings via abstract drawings. As a person, I am an overthinker who frequently gets lost in my quest.
I always strive to reclaim myself after experiencing anxiety, nostalgia, despair, rage, imperfection, loneliness, new change, and disappointment.
The only approach I've come up with is to play with lines while in certain phases and let the lines produce varied pictures.
