Emma Williams's profile

The Creative Apothecary

The Creative Apothecary is a store that provides helpful quotes and tips for creativities. The concept is to inspire, motivate and tackle creative block.

The logo was created to be used as a round stamp. I wanted the look to be old fashioned, this was to fit in with the Apothecary style.
Each quote card will be unique and feature an illustration. The quotes are taken from students, teachers, creatives, designers and artists.  Each quote card is individually packaged in a plain envelope to contrast with the bright quote inside. Each envelope is stamped the the Apothecary logo.

The Idea

Uncomfortable
Being to comfortable is dangerous. Most creatures die in their sleep. Keep moving or get eaten. - Frank Chimero
Break
Taking a break is important. You need time to recharge and relax, but don’t over do it! It is easy to get carried away and take a break that is longer than necessary. - Emma Williams ( student )
The Deadline
The deadline creeps up on you when you least expect it. It is always there, looming in the distance, watching your every move. - Emma Williams ( Student )
Drink
Always do sober-what you said you'd do drunk, that way you'll learn to keep your mouth shut.- Ernest Hemingway
