Commissioned by the Bavarian State Painting Collections, Schmid/Widmaier developed a visual identity for the "Feelings" exhibition, which opened in autumn 2019 in the Pinakothek der Moderne. The exhibition focused on the feelings that works of art evoke in the viewer, regardless of the artist and the prior knowledge that one associates with them. Schmid/Widmaier designed a flexible system that is made up of different colors and variable typographic shapes to suit changing feelings. These were used in the exhibition graphics, on banners, posters, in advertisements and flyers, the animations in the digital invitation and on social media.
