On the other hand, you have Manchester United, one of the world's most iconicfootball clubs. With 62 trophies and 659 million fans over the world, their success story is an inspiration to all their followers around the world.

 

Manchester United added another feather to their cap by becoming record holders for most number of league victories. With their 20th title, this year's trophy tour has become a truly iconic occasion.

As their Logistics Partner, DHL has always teamed with them and together, they've been "United in Success". And to celebrate this success, they are proud to deliver the Manchester United Trophy Tour.

 

That's right; today, as part of the Trophy Tour, DHL gives you the chance to witness the Barclays Premier League Trophy. They will also present to you, the Manchester United Museum - straight from the club, where you can relive the club’s legacy and follow this phenomenal success story. 

But that’s not all. Just like last year, we have a very special guest here with us; a legend who wrote history with the club and is here to share his story with all of us.

Thank you so much, Ashish.  It is indeed very exciting to see 2 great brands DHL & Manchester United come together to create a winning story!

 

20 league victories is a big achievement for any football club. And while this is a new record, the club has seen various such highlights in its footballing history.

 

But there was one year, which really stood out among the others – a year that changed Manchester United forever. The team wrote history by becoming the first team to win the Premier League, FA Cup and European Champions League – the Treble – in the same year, during the 1998-99 seasons. Various players from that batch went on to become great legends at the club. Our guest tonight was one of them.

One of the shining lights of glory in that revolutionary season, he is called ‘United’s Smiling Assasin’. Starting his Manchester United career in 1998, he enjoyed a dream debut with 29 goals to finish top scorer in the league. The Trinidad and Tobago forward struck up many lethal partnerships with his squad-mates and turned in one of the club’s all-time greatest individual displayers with a 22-minute hat-trick in the 6-1 victory against title rivals Arsenal in 2001. He subsequently joined other clubs, but always received a warm welcome when playing at Old Trafford from the fans. Winning 6 titles in 4 years, he became one of Manchester United’s greatest.
