A Smurfy Adventure

A Smurfy Adventure
Brief: Create an interactive design concept around a chosen object from the Powerhouse museum.

In this exhibition, I used the Smurf Figurines to create a immersive Interactive experience that was cute, fun, creative and nostalgic. This experience can be enjoyed by people of all ages, particulary suitable for children and families.

Visitors embark on a journey to complete a series of simple and fun activities such as “Finding your Smurf Character”, “Smurf Scavenger Hunt” “DIY Smurf House” and more.

The activities are a mix of analog and digital technologies, utlizing tactiity to encourage visitors to be off their phones. Visitors are encouraged to be curious and have fun, whilst learning more about the Smurf world and Smurf’s lives.

Visitors are given a adventure passport map at the start of the exhibition, where they will complete and record their progress on each of the activities.

At the end of the exhibition, visitors project their creations on a wall display to enjoy and admire each other’ work. They get to take home their adventure passport map with all their creations as memorabilia.
