Abstract:
Study represents summary of the mankind’s fight to undo what they have done to the planet Earth. Tower has been designed with redundant function, which is reflected in the structural braced form. It will serve people, as long as there is life on the planet and renewable energy sources are available, to evacuate to some new, unspoiled planet.  In parallel if there are no more people on Earth, it will serve as kind of the monument to how life here once looked like.

Science is progressing at a very fast pace. Devices, vehicles, technologies, methodologies, and many other objects and aspects which defined modern men few decades ago are now being considered obsolete. Currently, most of the world has available vaccines that have been developed in less than 10 months. This is something that only few years ago wasn’t imaginable. However, forces of nature are remaining to be pretty much out of human control.

Earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, sea level raising are all representing how is our planet reacting to our behaviour. Every next response of the nature is going to be more powerful than previous one until we face our worst fears – Planet earth will no longer be home for human race.

Many architects in the past tried to make energy efficient buildings that will rely on the renewable power sources in the attempt to save humankind. Following that, architecture and engineering development, focus is now shifted even further. It will not be enough to only harness the forces of the nature, buildings and wind will have to become one. Or is it too late for that?

If we for a moment investigate Junkyard Tornado hypothesis, also known as Hoyle's Fallacy. Questioning theory of evolution, hypothesis states that probability that life became from inanimate matter is equal to the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747. What brings us a hope in future is that science is always right and if life was created against all the odds, we can surely do something to ensure that it continues.

For the future of the architecture, it is very important to put in big efforts to create energy efficient buildings but also, we should explore what are required incorporated features to make buildings usable even if there are no more  people to maintain them.

People have to find a way  to live in a harmony with the nature instead of exploiting it.

We should accept the possibility that it may be too late and that the planet will not forgive us for what we have done to it so far. Mankind will have to find a new home.

Wherever people end up being, it’s important that there is a memorial that will constantly remind them of where they came from and why they had to leave that environment.
