Missile attack on Freedom Square in Kharkiv

The War started on 24th of February. First few days I was shocked and couldn't draw anything. But on 1st of March russion invaders bombed Freedom Square in my city Kharkiv.
The building of the regional administration, which is located there, was destroyed and cannot be restored.
As a result of this attack, 24 people died.

Almost 3 weeks of the War. I wasn't in Ukraine when it started, but all my relatives and friends were. All my days were on the phone constantly writing to the close people and waiting for the answer.

21 days of the War. Russia was occupying the north of Kyiv region, Kherson and Melitopol, surrounding Mariupol, constantly attacking Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Sumy. 100 children have died.
That day, Serhii Lavrov said in the interview that they (russians) have no pretensions to the Ukrainian people.
Later that day russians dropped the bomb on the Drama Theatre in Mariupol, where were hiding about 1300 people. Most of them died.
Ukraine is strong

65th day of the war. Russian invaders were expelled from the north of the country. The world saw their crimes against humanity in Bucha, Irpen and other cities near Kyiv. About 400 civilian people died in occupied Bucha.
It became clear that Ukraine would not give up.

This is my father's birthday. Usually on this day we all are in Mykolaiv in the parents' house. But this year the city was under constant shelling. We were in different parts of the world and house is staying empty.

I felt that we would win in this War that day. Sooner or later. So the mood of my art was changed. It was filled with pride for my nation. This animation represent what our the coat of arms means — freedom.

Hundreds of Ukrainian warriors were blocked on the territory of the Azovstal plant. They were under constant fire without food, water and medicine. They are captured by Russian invaders now.

Third Thursday in May is Day of embroidery in Ukraine. All my national embroidered shirt were in Ukraine that day and I didn't have any to wear here. So I celebrated that day with this animation.

The European Parliament adopted a resolution calling for the immediate granting of candidate status for EU membership to Ukraine. On the same day, the European Council granted Ukraine the status of a candidate for accession to the EU.

Ukrainians are attacked with rockets several times a week. Russia is targeting our electricity system to leave thousands of civilians without electricity, heat, and water during the winter. The darkest winter in the modern history of Ukraine.
