I was pleased to have the opportunity to work with the office of Senator Kirk Watson and local artist Bob Wade from December 2010 to January 2011, to design this 6 foot by 3 foot wall hanging "Greetings from Austin, Texas."
Inspired by 1930s-1940s era postcard artwork, this piece was output on a fine art canvas and then stretched and framed. Our updated design included Austin-related images that are iconic, as well as personally important to Senator Watson.
The finished piece was displayed in the Senator's legislative office, and hopefully served as an interesting conversation starter to anyone who visited.
