The last architecture project for SEC studio was a wellness center at Cranbrook Academy of Art. I based my design on the Ohe'o Gulch section of Haleakala National Park on Maui, Hawaii. Also known as the 'Seven Sacred Pools', the stream runs from the 400 foot Waimoku Falls to the ocean, through bamboo groves and creating hundreds of pools of various sizes along the way.

I created a series of baths based on the flow of the river. The space is filled with hundreds of columns of various sizes, mimicking the environment of the bamboo grove. The columns come together tightly to form enclosed walls around changing rooms and loosen up to shape other spaces throughout the building.
